FAQ

Answers to common questions about our research compounds, documentation, orders, and policies. If you don’t find what you need, our research support team is happy to help.

What are iNGEN MD compounds intended for?
All compounds are supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, or the prevention of any condition.
Do I need to be a qualified researcher to order?
Yes. By placing an order you confirm that you are a qualified researcher aged 18 or older and that you will handle and use the material in compliance with all applicable laws and institutional policies.
What form are the compounds supplied in?
Compounds are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials, prepared for laboratory reconstitution and in-vitro study.
How is purity determined?
Each batch is analyzed by independent third-party laboratories using HPLC and mass spectrometry. The measured purity is recorded on the Certificate of Analysis for that batch.
What purity should I expect?
Compounds are released to a target purity of at least 99%. The exact measured value for your material is stated on its batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
Where can I find a Certificate of Analysis?
Published COAs are available in our Lab Results library, searchable by compound name or batch number, and linked from the relevant compound page as each batch is released.
What is a batch number and where is it?
A batch number identifies a specific production lot. It is printed on the vial and referenced on the matching Certificate of Analysis, allowing you to trace documentation to the exact material you received.
What does the Certificate of Analysis include?
A COA typically reports compound identity, measured purity, the analytical methods used, and the batch it corresponds to. Additional parameters are included where relevant to the compound.
How should compounds be stored?
Store lyophilized material sealed and protected from light. Long-term storage is generally recommended at approximately -20°C, with brief handling at 2-8°C. Minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Compound-specific parameters accompany each batch.
How long does material remain stable?
Stability depends on the compound and storage conditions. Lyophilized material stored correctly is generally more stable than reconstituted material, which should be kept refrigerated and used within the interval noted in the batch documentation.
How are orders shipped?
Orders are packaged carefully to protect the material and dispatched promptly, with tracking provided. Estimated processing and transit times are shown during checkout and on our Shipping Policy page.
Do you ship discreetly?
Yes. Shipments use plain, secure packaging that does not describe the contents on the exterior.
Can I track my order?
Yes. A tracking number is provided once your order ships, and order status is available from your account dashboard.
Do I need an account to order?
You can check out as a guest, but creating an account lets you track orders, access order history, and download any associated documents from one place.
What payment methods are accepted?
Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout. If you have a question about payment for a wholesale or institutional order, please contact our support team.
What is your return policy?
Because these are research materials, returns are handled according to the conditions described on our Returns Policy page. Contact support promptly if there is an issue with your order and we will work to resolve it.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk supply?
Yes. Laboratories, universities, and companies can access volume pricing and account support through our wholesale program. Reach out with your requirements to get started.
Can you provide dosing or usage instructions?
No. We do not provide dosing, administration, or usage guidance of any kind. Our materials are for laboratory research only, and our documentation is limited to identity, purity, and handling information.
Are your compounds approved by the FDA?
No. These compounds are not approved by the FDA and are not intended for human or veterinary use. They are provided solely for in-vitro laboratory and scientific research.
How can I contact your team?
You can reach our research support team through the Contact page. Including the compound name and batch number in your message helps us respond quickly and accurately.
